Embracing the Truth

Many of us have questioned within ourselves at one time or another “If God really loves me then why is my life the way it is?” Some of us have made decisions that have put us in our current situation and sometimes others have made decisions that have put us in our situation. The truth is that no matter what your current circumstance are; God has a plan for you and that plan can be found in His presence and in His word. God’s will is to protect, provide and love you. He desires for each of His children to experience rich relationships with one another and all of us to have money so we can share this truth with others.

So what’s stopping you from receiving all of these promises? Ask yourself a few questions to determine what’s stopping you.  Are you fully persuaded that God loves and cares for you? Do you believe God has already blessed you based on His word? Do you believe you have access to the blessing right now today and not after you die? Is there someone in your life or in your past that you have not forgiven? Have you been honest with God and yourself that you want and need money (address your motives)? Have you been honest with God and yourself about your lifestyle (address the sin)? Have you repented? Have you made a decision to allow God to be ruler over every area of your life? Do you really trust the power of God to change your life?

Forgiveness, repentance, motives and beliefs along with your decision to follow God’s instructions could be the root of the problem of why you are not seeing the promises of God in your life. The simple truth is you are free to love! Free to give! Free to walk in joy and peace! God has given you everything you need to succeed including money through the blood of Jesus however to access it you must follow Gods terms and conditions found in His word. God’s word outlines His promises and tells us how to access them.  Reading the word of God and spending time to talk to God and listening to hear what He has to say to you; helps you to discover the truth for yourself.

Walk in God’s Confidence Part II

Comparison is a strategy Satan uses to keep you focused on things and people and leads to low self-esteem, low self-worth and value. Keep your eyes on God, He is your strength. Rely and believe in who God created you to be! Each day you awake, every moment of your life put on and walk in God’s confidence. Apply His confidence like you apply your make-up foundation to your face. Wear His confidence like you’ve gotten an all expense paid make-over. Your job is to see yourself as God’s Wise Wealthy Woman walking  in the confidence of God and not your own.  Walking in God’s confidence is like a scuba diver putting on a wet suit before going diving; picture yourself placing one arm into the sleeve and then the other and putting one leg inside the pants and then the other.  God’s  confidence, joy  love, peace and strength is the wet suit needed to keep both you and I as we travel this journey called life because His strength is greater than yours or mine.

Walk in God’s Confidence Part I

Most of our time is spent on comparison. We compare our car with other people’s car. We compare their style of dress to our style of dress. Their hair and eye color with ours. Their lips and nose to ours. Their home, kids, spouse to ours and before you know it you are so caught up in their world and their life until you’ve forgotten about your life. Before you know it comparing has gotten you so off track of what you’re supposed to be doing with your life and your family, you begin having feelings of resentment towards your spouse, kids, husband, home and even towards yourself. Stop for a moment! Look around! See the beauty in the things God has given you! You may not drive a car like theirs, make that kind of money, live in that type of home, have her children or husband. You may not look how she looks but you and your life is beautiful in it’s own unique way.

Prayer opens the door of communication with God and for Him to communicate with you and give His instructions and solutions to your problems. Spend time in prayer and worship, share your thoughts and heart with God. Wait and listen for God’s instructions. Write down the instructions God gives you and then follow His instructions and complete them.

The Liberty to Be You!

We live in a world in which names and titles of a person, place or thing hold great value. We love to drop names and titles in our conversations to associate ourselves with value.  Liberty in Jesus gives you the freedom to be authentic, transparent and to be yourself. You’re free to make choices and find friends who’ll encourage you to be yourself. Jesus gives you the fullness of His liberty to walk in love, joy and peace on a daily basis. You are liberated from selfishness, arrogance, being rude and prideful all of these behaviors are your choice. Jesus has given you His power through the Holy Spirit to walk in His kindness, goodness and self-control. Today make a personal decision to be yourself and walk in the liberty that Jesus has given to you by the Holy Spirit.

Wise Wealthy Woman Lifestyle: Make a decision to find authentic (down to earth real) people. Take time with yourself to discover the authentic (real) you. Focus on being kind and patient to others.

Looking for Love Part II

Out of all the things God has given you and desires to give you and the things you desire for Him to give you; He desires for you to come into His presence and worship Him.  He desires for you to worship Him because He is God and not for things. Your worship is the only pleasing gift you can give to God. Tithing, offering, prayer, thanksgiving, praise, giving, walking in the “Fruits of the Spirit” are all part of a lifestyle of a citizen of the Kingdom of God while living here on earth.

When you come into God’s presence and truly worship Him with your whole heart, He will give you the desires of your heart. If you make God your delight in Him, believe Him, obey Him and His word, then you will receive the blessing of the Lord.

He desires to please you by giving you these things because He is a giver. But God wants to you to please Him and delight in Him by giving Him your worship.

Wise Wealthy Woman Lifestyle: Take time to enter into the presence of God. Worship Him with your whole heart. Repent your sins and forgive others. Carry and hold the love  that you have for  God in your heart. Obey God and His word and; believe God and His word.

Wise Wealthy Woman Prayer: Thank you Heavenly Father for allowing me to come into your presence. What a privilege and honor it is to worship you.  I come before you bowing down my agenda, wants and needs. You alone are great, mighty and excellent. There is none like you in all the earth. I thank you for being my Father and my God. Lord I repent for my sins and humbly submit myself and everything in my life to you. I thank you that you are my God and I’m your child. I thank you that you alone are my provider and resource. Father I pray in the Name of Jesus that my worship is pleasing to you and that you accept the worship from my heart it is my gift to you because I love you. Amen!

Looking for Love Part I

All of us are looking for love, want love, desire love and need love—God has designed us that way. We have experienced love in many different relationships mothers, fathers, siblings, children, husband,  friend’s and lovers. There is a love that surpasses all the relationships we will ever encounter here on earth and that’s the relationship and love of God. His love has no limits and can only be experienced by opening your heart to God and opening your mouth and simply ask Him, to come in and overflow you with His love. God is waiting but you have to invite Him in. God wants you to know He loves you, cares for you and He is concerned about you. God has not forgotten about you and you are important to Him.

God also wants you to love Him because He loves you. God wants to be the object of your love because you’re the object of His love. God wants you to hunger for Him like He hungers for you. God wants you to draw near to Him like He has drawn near to you. God wants you to turn to Him like you’ve turned to money, people and things. God loves you more than money, people and things and He wants you to love Him more than money, people and things.

Wise Wealthy Woman Mindset: Make a strong decision to make God the object of your love by thinking of the love He has shown to you. Make God your delight by thinking of Him and having a heart and mindset of worship.

Wise Wealthy Woman Words: Renew your mind with the word of God. Confess that there is no one else like God. Confess that God is wonderful, marvelous, and that He alone is everlasting and your God.

2011 New Year Resolution Part II

Use this year to exercise your spiritual power and authority by speaking  the word of God over your life. You must be proactive and become your own advocate when it comes to spiritual wholeness and maturity Jesus came so that you  may have life and more abundantly. Spending more time in the word of God teaches you how to overcome and fight Satan, it also shows you God’s will for your life and all the blessing and promises He has given you.  Worship, fasting and prayer helps to increase spiritual strength, walking in love, faith and confessing the word of God is the weapon that destroys the enemy attack. And the Holy Spirit is here to teach and give you spiritual wisdom, knowledge and understanding of the things of God and reveal to you who you are by Christ Jesus.

Wise Wealthy Woman Lifestyle: Take time to worship and thank God. Repent your sins and forgive others. Carry and hold the love of God in your heart for yourself and others. Believe God’s word and believe when you pray.

2011 New Year Resolution Part I

As we search our hearts and mind for the new goals we would like to accomplish lose weight, get a job, save money, get out of debt, purchase a home and better our relationships; let’s not forget about spiritual, mental and emotional wholeness. Many of us have been hurt by friends, family and love ones it’s important that we take time to heal these broken areas in the New Year. Acting as if the pain doesn’t matter only causes our hearts to grief and become bitter it also causes anxiety, anger, resentment and no peace. Healing in the bible applies to wholeness in every area of your life,  healing is restoring a person to what they had before and lost but the agent of that healing is the power of God who restores you. Returning to God can be the first step in both physical and spiritual healing.   So let’s include in our 2011 goals to pursue a spiritual inward journey to heal, love ourselves and others, and forgive ourselves and others.

Wise Wealthy Woman Mindset: Hold the word of God in your heart and in your mind. Make a decision to come into agreement with God’s word that you are healed. Read scriptures on healing.

Wise Wealthy Woman Words: Take authority over negative words by renewing your mind with the word of God. Confess and declare the word and promises of God that you are healed by the blood of Jesus. Thank God each day for your healing.

Wise Wealthy Woman Actions: Practice continually replacing negative thoughts and words with the word of God.

This Holiday Walk in Love, Joy & Peace

As we enter into the week of Christmas we are constantly reminded of love, joy and peace by way of holiday cards and signs. Jesus freely gave them to you so that you can share them with others along with the fruits of the spirit– kindness, gentleness, patience, goodness self-control and faithfulness. (Galatians 5:22-23) As you plan your holiday and your gift giving –plan on giving the Fruit of the Spirit to the people in your life and those you meet along the way, you have an immediate  fresh daily supply at any time by simply going to God and asking Him.

Love- seeks the highest good of others. Loves is not based on emotions or feelings. It is a decision and the ability  to be loving when others are being unloving and rude, irritating, bothersome and ungrateful. Love is not based upon money and things. Love is not based on situation and circumstances.    ( John 3:16; John 15:12-14; 1 John 4:7-12)

Joy-is more than happiness. It is not based on financial success, good health or popularity. Joy glorifies God through tears and pain. It offers a sacrifice of praise despite our pain. It is the ability to worship and trust an  invisible and very real God during the unstable times of your life.   (John 17:3; John 16:22-24; 1 Peter 1:8,9)

Peace- is the position of your heart and mind, it is assurance and contentment. It is inward oneness and unity within yourself. Peace is freedom from worry, disturbance, and oppressive thoughts. It is simply resting and trusting in God with every area of your life. (Philippians 4:6,7; Romans 14:19;)

Holiday Victory

As you enter into the holidays it’s important to guard your heart and mind because sin starts there. Be alert of your thoughts and feelings. Keep your heart and mind from being weighed down by anxiety by avoiding longings for anything or anyone in this world, except God.  Choose to focus your heart and mind on God and doing His will. Guard your heart and mind with the word of God.  Keep your heart and mind on the love, joy, and  peace  of God and give Him thanks by acknowledging who He is.

What is Thankfulness?

Thankfulness is a form of worship and lifestyle that recognizes God’s divine grace and mercy. It is expressed by giving God thanks and praise from your mouth and giving Him worship from your heart and giving God focus and attention with your mind and thoughts. To give  God your heart is to share the most important part of you without limit.  Ask God to inspect your heart and search all your hidden areas, then ask Him to cleanse your heart until it pleases Him. Ask God to do heart surgery on you and give you a fresh new one.

Thanks-Giving is your gift to God with the purpose of “Blessing God” and saying  “thank you for who you are in my life”, and is one of the most generous gift of love that you can give to God. In return God fills your heart with His love, peace and joy– which is God’s true meaning for the season!!
